You Are Invited! to Ontario's Physical Literacy Summit held virtually on zoom.

Hello and Welcome,

On behalf of the Ontario Physical Literacy Summit (OPLS), we would like to invite you to attend the 9th annual Ontario Physical Literacy Virtual Summit.

The Ontario Physical Literacy Summit is a non-profit collaborative initiative with Physical Literacy Hamilton. The OPLS committee is a collective team of professional volunteers that believe in the value of physical literacy and its benefits for individuals of all ages and abilities throughout life.

We are engaging delegates this year through various presentations and speakers that accompany our summit theme:

Physical Literacy – Move to live, live to move, find your balance.

Our summit will provide your network with insight on the topics of physical literacy, diversity, equity and inclusion.
Event Agenda:
The summit will be composed of several live and pre-recorded sessions for students to attend on November 3, 2022. We acknowledge the land on which ParaSport® Ontario was built is the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit and the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, the Wendat, and the Haudenosaunee peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum agreement to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. Today Toronto (also known as Tkaronto) is home to many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples and acknowledging reminds us that our great standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous people.
