The Diversity in Sports Conference, presented by Inclusion in Canadian Sports Network (ICSN) is dedicated to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in amateur sports. The ICSN is excited to offer a variety of resources and strategies to help you create a more inclusive sports environment.

Join us on May 4th for our annual Para Athletics Try It event at the Toronto Track & Field Centre from 11:30am - 1:00pm! The Try It sessions will be facilitated by knowledgeable event coaches and Cruisers athletes, including Paralympians! All equipment is provided, no experience is necessary.

A program that introduces blind and visually impaired students to a variety of blind sports carried out by professional coaches.

7 provincial teams from across Canada are competing for the National Para Hockey Championships in a 18 game tournament in Port Colborne. Come and see Canada’s best Para Hockey hockey players compete, province versus province , in exciting action at Port Colborne’s Vale Centre. Admission is free. Games start at 9 on Thursday and Friday, with playoffs starting on Saturday at 1130am with Pool B Championship at 7 pm, and the Championship Game at 1130 on Sunday . Come out and support Team Ontario or your favourite province and let’s rock the Vale Centre for these outstanding Canadian para hockey athletes.

Join the Cruisers for their first-ever regional boccia competition! Participation at this event qualifies you for the 2024 Ontario Boccia Championships.

Calling all Equestrian enthusiasts. There is exciting Para Equestrian Classifier Course taking place this year at the Ottawa Dressage Festival, from Wednesday. May 29, 2024 – Friday, May 31st. The course is open to Physiotherapists and Medical Physicians who wish to become Equestrian Canada (EC) Para-Equestrian Classifiers. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from renowned experts in Para-Equestrian sports, equipping participants with the insights needed to assist Canadian athletes in achieving success on the international stage.

The OBSA Summer Sports Camp is a fun-filled overnight camp for campers living with a visual impairment. During the 5 days and 4 nights, campers participate in numerous sports and games led by trained counsellors, coaches, and sometimes even Paralympic athletes! Sports include swimming, wrestling, tandem-cycling, goalball, judo, track and field, powerlifting, bowling, and soccer. Campers are carefully instructed in each sport to help properly develop their skills and enjoy every activity to its fullest.

The 2024 Para Pro-Am Golf Tournament will once again showcase excellence in the sport of golf for people of all abilities to encourage participation in the game through all stages of life. ParaGolfers will include military veterans, Paralympians, national and international champions and other who celebrate their abilities and continue to strive for excellence after life-altering injuries and/or illness.
