It is with great excitement that, in partnership with Squash Ontario, ParaSport Ontario, Brock Niagara Penguins, Sport Niagara and White Oakes, Ridley College announces its first annual Adaptive Sport Try-it Day at the Evan’s Athletic Centre at Ridley College Saturday, November 15th, 2025!

From 1:00pm to 4:00pm people of all abilities, especially those interested in trying adaptive sport, are invited to come learn about and try the dynamic games of wheelchair squash, para (sledge) hockey, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair table tennis, wheelchair bocce, goalball and seated volleyball.

Have you ever wanted to try wheelchair curling? Now’s your chance! Join us for at the Galt Country Club, Saturday, November 15 from 1:00 – 4:00pm, where you can experience the excitement of curling in a fun, welcoming environment. 🔹 Who should come? • Anyone who uses a wheelchair or has a mobility impairment and wants to try a new sport! No experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm. • Athletes from other wheelchair sports – looking for a second sport or a change in competitive opportunity. 🔹 Why try it? Curling is a fantastic way to stay active, meet new people, and be part of a supportive team. Whether you’re looking for a fun outing or fun new sport, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a shot! 📅 Date: Saturday November 15th. 1:00pm – 4:00pm 📍 Location: Galt Country Club. The Ontario Wheelchair Curling Open, an awesome annual event hosted by the Ontario Curling Council and the Toronto Cricket Club is set to take place November 28-30, 2025. This premier competition brings together wheelchair curling teams from across the province and beyond, fostering high-level competition and community engagement.

The OWCO is a qualifying event for the 2026 Ontario Winter Games - Top 2 Ontario team
