Jason was diagnosed as an infant with spastic cerebral palsy with right sided hemiplegia.
Cerebral palsy influences movement and coordination, as well as having adverse effects on posture and balance. Jason’s condition is primarily right sided, however his left side is also affected and as such, results in difficulties with gross and fine motor skills.
His distance perception and spatial awareness are also impaired.

Renee has been an active member of the Ontario Cerebral Palsy Sports Association’s OCPSA) Provincial program for over 10 years. She began her Athletics career while just a preteen.

Sports can include rock climbing, golf, swimming, wrestling, tandem-cycling, goalball, judo, track and field, powerlifting, bowling, and soccer to name a few.
