ParaSport® Ontario. There is a sport for everyBODY!”

Abi Tripp

Abi Tripp

Abi Tripp is a two-time Paralympian in Para-Swimming. She was born with mild cerebral palsy that affects all four limbs and developed dystonia at 15. Abi grew up participating in many recreational sports and discovered competitive swimming at six. Swimming gave her complete freedom in the water and was a great way to become a strong and confident athlete. Abi continues to train and compete with the goal to improve and grow the sport.
Hey, I'm Abi! The world of parasport is constantly in evolution, and the best part is that there is a place for everyone. Sport has opened up so many doors and taught me many valuable lessons. Now it's your turn to experience the joy and power of parasport. I would love to hear from you!

We acknowledge the land on which ParaSport® Ontario was built is the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit and the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, the Wendat, and the Haudenosaunee peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum agreement to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. Today Toronto (also known as Tkaronto) is home to many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples and acknowledging reminds us that our great standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous people.
