ParaSport® Ontario. There is a sport for everyBODY!”

Dave Sora

Dave Sora
Vice-President, Centre for Accessible Sport and Play
It all started in 2008, when Dave showed up on the field with a bag of balls, a couple of volunteers and had some fun playing soccer with a few kids with disabilities. Ever since, he's worked with his local soccer club to find ways for children with disabilities to play while addressing key barriers driving low participation rates. This led to the formation of the Centre for Accessible Sport and Play with a vision to support all leaders to adapt programs so that ALL KIDS can play.
Hi, I'm Dave. I'm passionate about finding creative solutions that drive social change and promote social justice. And I'm all about finding ways for kids with disabilities to play. Let's connect.
Areas of Expertise: Soccer. Coaching.

We acknowledge the land on which ParaSport® Ontario was built is the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit and the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, the Wendat, and the Haudenosaunee peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum agreement to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. Today Toronto (also known as Tkaronto) is home to many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples and acknowledging reminds us that our great standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous people.
