ParaSport® Ontario. There is a sport for everyBODY!”

Elisha MacMillan

Elisha MacMillan
Elisha is a mixed-ancestry dancer and sociologist who founded Rhythm is for Everyone [RIFE]. Her workshops use rhythm and movement as tools to foster self-expression, wellness and community connection. Elisha experienced a leap in healing after a car accident when she began dancing in her imagination. She believes that drum and dance are ways to heal and celebrate uniqueness. Over the past 12 years, RIFE has supported school boards, universities and NPOs across Ontario to move their bodies.
Welcome to this wonderful hub! I believe that rhythm and movement can foster community connection and enhance physical and emotional well-being. There are many ways to create drum and dance experiences that meet diverse needs and abilities. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Areas of Expertise: Dance. Equestrian.

We acknowledge the land on which ParaSport® Ontario was built is the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit and the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, the Wendat, and the Haudenosaunee peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum agreement to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. Today Toronto (also known as Tkaronto) is home to many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples and acknowledging reminds us that our great standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous people.
