Wheelchair Curling
Wheelchair Curling
You won’t hear “sweep” in wheelchair curling - no broom sweeping in the parasport version of this sport. A teammate, or a volunteer in recreational games, holds the thrower's wheelchair steady and stationary while throwing.
Most players push the stones toward the “house” with a pole or extender stick. Each team is mixed, men and women. It's a game of strategy and skill. A great team sport, so "Hurry!" to see if curling "rocks" for you.
